Gregory De Sarro

Present: Consuming Case Studies

Case studies are gaining more and more status as a currency in knowledge and preparation for action plans. As practitioners, we need to better understand and evaluate the applicability of these case studies to our situation.

From this presentation you will gain a better understanding of, and the ability to, recognize factors influencing case studies and how to ask the right questions when evaluating them for your own use. This in turn will provide you with better methods for gleaning and applying information from case studies to your own specific setting and challenges.

During this workshop you will identify:

•  Major components of a case study

•  Gaps in the study

•  Potential cause-effect relationships

•  Useful and purposeful information from the "not"

Bring yourself and your best analytical mindset to this presentation and be prepared for an enlightening and positively challenging time.

Gregory De Sarro, M.Ed., MBA, Doctoral Candidate, has over 20 years experience as an educator, instructor, curriculum developer, instructional systems designer, consultant, needs and process analyst, and project manager, across a wide variety of industries. Present: Coaching for Success

Learn an effective approach to increase creativity, ownership, accountability and results within your organization

Today we hear much about Training and Development professionals needing to be "Strategic Partners."   Unfortunately in many organizations Training and Development is viewed as the Gatekeeper or "paper pushers" and not as value added.

Providing outstanding coaching is an excellent approach to empowering direct reports, managers and employees within your organizations. Coaching is NOT counseling, training or giving advice.

This workshop will assist you personally as well as give you ideas on how you can be training your managers to be outstanding coaches to increase bottom line results throughout the organization.

During this workshop you will:

•  Identify the extent to which you practice the skills associated with effective coaching.

•  Reflect on what it takes to be an effective coach.

•  Learn five key coaching competencies.

•  Consider how to apply your new knowledge to the job and how you can use this knowledge to assist Managers in your organization.

Rachel Karu, M.S., A.C.C and Melissa Karz, MBA are partners of Kruz Consulting - a professional develop-ment practice specializing in career effectiveness, organizational effectiveness, leadership and management development, and executive coaching.
