Position description:

The Sales Trainer will be responsible for supporting our Endoscopic Sales Training Learning System Curriculum consisting of clinical skills, product knowledge, and selling skills development of Sales, Marketing, and Repair Representatives. He or she will also be actively involved in new Marketing product introductions and on-going educational initiatives.

This position will work closely with sales and marketing leadership in understanding the performance and skill gaps and provide a consultative approach to implement solutions that will be executed in the field. He or she must be able to facilitate stand-up delivery of instructor led training and participate in the modification workshops to meet the overall goals of the organization.

 

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Execute Performance & Need analyses and provide suggestions on actions to address them
  • Create training objectives to describe the outcomes that new or revised blended training programs should accomplish
  • Create metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the training
  • Collaborate on how the developed instruction will be delivered so that it is done by the most economical means
  • Develop participant materials, exercises, case studies and role-plays, for Instructor Led Training (ILT), Self-directed activities, Online and On-the-Job Training
  • Manage relationships, contracts and projects with outsourced training and development providers, especially as it relates to quality and cost containment
  • Facilitate Workshops for new Sales and Marketing personnel
  • Consult with Sales and Marketing Subject Matter Experts in developing and designing curriculum and product launch training
  • Work with the Director of Professional Education to establish curriculum
  • Responsible for the development of continuous improvement
  • Identify qualified presenters, both inside and outside the organization to help facilitate workshops, online Rapid e-learning modules, and other training initiatives
  • Select outside vendors and project managers to develop and maintain sales training courses
  • Travel up to 25%.
